From our experience at Osteria Dalie e Fagioli came the desire to grow, to challenge ourselves, and to bring our idea of cuisine into a new space. This is how Il Fungo was born, a place we chose with great care, also for its wonderful view of the lake. Here, we continue to pursue well-crafted cuisine, prepared with attention, respect, and dedication, with the goal of doing things properly, without shortcuts.
To maintain this standard, we constantly seek out some of the best chefs, professionals capable of sharing our vision and bringing new ideas, technique, and sensitivity. We believe that quality cuisine is born first and foremost from the people who create it.
Alongside the kitchen, we chose to offer a line of pizzas that tells the story of our region and its producers. We select ingredients directly from their places of origin: flours, mozzarella, tomatoes, and everything that completes our pizzas. We cultivate our own sourdough starter, which we care for every day, because a well-made dough is lighter, more digestible, and alive.
This is our journey: a simple, sincere story, built day after day with our hands, our minds, and our hearts.
